Another JB trip!

We were supposed to go JB for Go-Kart. But my colleague’s grandpa just passed away, so we have to cancel the Go-kart trip. Hope she is feeling better now.

Anyway, my the other colleagues (DQ & Joyce) and me still went to JB since, we had already changed money and Joyce finally got permission from her father to go Malaysia(with friends only).
There wasn’t much jam at the customs, so we reached city square ard 12 plus and had our lunch at Secret Recipe. We took some pics of our order.

Fish & ChipsBlack pepper chicken

I must recommend Chicken Cordon Bleu. The cheese and ham were wrapped around by boneless chicken thigh. But too bad, it's not cheesy enough but the meat is really tender. This is a must-try at Secret recipe!

After lunch, we took a cab to Jusco for shopping. Due to time constraint, we din buy a lot of things and din get to shop the whole Jusco. Cause I had arranged a dinner appointment with my manager. He’s a Malaysian and he always go back to JB every weekend. So he told me to ask him out, if I’m in JB. He took us to a rather ulu hawker centre near Plaza Pelangi together with his wife and one of his besties. Before his friend arrived, we ordered first round of food, BBQ stingray, La-La, hao jian, fried kway tiao and rojak. The hao jian was really good, it’s not as starchy as some of the local. Everything were so yummy. Hehe.. So we finished everything before my manager’s friend arrived. When his friend arrived, we ordered a plate of fired kway tiao for him and ordered another plate of BBQ stingray and hao jian. After finishing the food, my boss asked us whether we are full, out of politeness, I told him yes but actual fact, Im not full yet.

My boss dropped us at Plaza Pelangi as we wanted to ‘ta bao’ Dunkin Donuts.

We went back to City Square and continued our shopping. And I finally bought shoes after weeks of shoes-hunting. Now, I’m on a bag-hunt. Hehehe..

Totally in love with my new shoes now. Must find a chance to wear it this week.

Roller-Blade

I finally tried roller-blade for the first time during my department trip to Sentosa last sat. It's fun fun fun! Hahaha!!! After like 2 hours of learning from Deeque, I can only 'walk'. I must train harder!!! I think I better get a pair of blades for myself when I get my bonus (prorated + miserable). So guys, forget abt asking me to give a treat, u might get nothing but nagging from me. Hehehe. Anyway, the blades I rented was really CMI, the blades were slightly spoiled and not comfortable. So, Deeque let me used her new blades. So sweet of her! And her blades are very comfy. But it doesn't stop me from aching all over the next day. =P

We only took 2 pic during the trip. The first pic is sort of candid shot. When another colleague was trying to take picture for us, Deeque (middle) kept using the cushion to cover her face, so I got fed up and snatched her cushion. And there's Lena (right) joining the fun.
The proper pic, but dunno why Deeque din really smile...

FYI, Choon Liang and Boqiang are Yvonne's SIM schoolmates and this is the 2nd time I met Choon Liang. Shu Hui and Yvonne.. No need to much introduction.. My besties from secondary school. Actually, there's one more, Siqi, but she din join us for drinking. Cos she needs to work the next day. Here's Andy (Yvonne's SIM schoolmate) and his friend, Elaine, and Elaine and her friend, Cheryl. Abit chim, rite? Anyway, this is my first meeting both the girls. My Margarita! They only serve Margarita at Cafe Iguana. Yummy~Me, Hui & Von along the river... Free "bag holder"... Any takers?

A great weekend!!!

I met up with Von, Hui, Andy and Boqiang at Raffles Place before going Settlers cafe on friday. For people who is not familiar with this cafe, here's the webby http://sg.settlerscafe.com/ We actually played quite alot of games, but I dun really remember the game name. Hehe.. Anyway, the game that I like best is "Pit", it's actually "Heart attack". But we can trade any amount of cards with anyone who wanted to trade the same number of cards. We just need to shout out the number of cards we want to trade, so u can imagine how noisy we were. And i must really mention Andy in this game, when he only left one last card to win and no one wan to trade with him, he will snatch our cards!!! See.. his true colours show.. we must be wary of Andy next time when we are playing this game. Opps.. =x Had a lot of fun that day!!!

After sleeping for barely 5 hours and I woke up at 8 to go JB with Deeque and her friend, Stanley. Due to my mistake, we took a long route before reaching Jusco. I'm really sorry, guys. I won't never make that mistake again!!! I'm really guilty about it so please dun mention it again. Hehehe.. There's Dunkin Donuts at Jusco but I forget to 'ta bao' some back.. what a waste.. Stanley is a great guy and a good travelling kaki.. he went exploring the place by himself and left both me and Deeque to do shopping ourselves.. See.. this is what a guy should do, make himself scarce at the appropriate time.. Jusco is really big, when we were at one end of the mall we couldn't see the
other end.. But it's only 3 storey high.. I think there's a basement but we didn't have the time to stay at Jusco.. cos we still need to do shopping at City square.. we were very tired after shopping at Jusco and even fell asleep in the cab on our way back to city square.. Okie.. here's what I bought from JB.. I like the skirt best but it's abit tight on me.. Time to 'jian fei'.. Guess I need cut down on cakes this week..

On the topic of cakes, I must recommend this cafe at boat quay.. I can't remember the name of the cafe.. from eskibar, u jus need to walk along the stretch down and you can find the cafe and it's quite far from eskibar..erm.. but if you can't find it, please dun blame me, I'm really bad at direction.. So happy searching.. Here's what me and my colleagues had last week..
