Off day!!!

I'm on leave today!!! Howe Ngee, Deeque and Joyce came over to Jurong East to meet me just to play billiard and pool. So sweet of them cos they are living far from Jurong.

Anyway, I'm really on form today. I played rather well today. Quite pleased with myself. Hahaha. Billiard is really fun! I'm quite addicted to billiard rite now. . . I shall play more when I got more free time!

Finally get to meet up with Carine, Lizhi & Liyan in the late afternoon. . . it’s been sometime since we all went out together. . . We were supposed to have dinner at Sizzler but I had a change of heart when I saw New York New York. . . Hehehe. . So obviously, we had our dinner there. . . Again, there are bound to have people coming late. . . Supposed to meet at 6.30 for dinner.

Dex – Reach abt 7.45 or somewhere there, can’t really remember but he already sincere enough to take a cab from Jurong to City Hall and cost him $26! (Usually it’s $13)

Terence – Reach abt 8 plus due to work. . . So, understandable.

Dione & Sebast – Reach abt 9 plus. . .

So, we only finish our dinner at 10 plus. God! We spent abt 3hrs there. . . Anyway, I quite like the place, great for gatherings with friends and the food there is quite good and not expensive. . . Definitely worth the price that we are paying and the portion is quite big too. . .

While we were having dinner, I received a sms from Boqiang asking me to go Butter Factory. . . So, I ask my friends if they are keen, but they say I called the shots. (Dione is definitely keen, I knew it from her dressing that day, she is prepared for club! She said she had a feeling that we will go club that day! Haha!)

But we have a few problems here!

1st – Sebast, Terence and Dex are not 25 yet.

2nd – Sebast is wearing bermudas and sandals.

3rd – None of us had been there, so we dunno the exact location.

Anyway, we decide to go Butter factory and try our luck! And, Sebast decided to go home and change and meet up with us there. . . (He’s driving)

Having no sense of direction, I had a hard time understanding Boqiang when he is trying to tell me the directions. . . Luckily, Tingting(Carine’s sis who joined us there after her work) came to the rescue and we found the place! Hehehe!

We were waiting outside Butter factory for Sebast & Dione to reach and suay suay it was full house just before they reach. . . So we decided to go beach bar and chill out, anyway it jus nearby. . . Nothing much to do there. . . So we went round and took photos again!

Is it a trend for birthday girl to wait for people???

Last week, Hui ’s birthday celebration is also the same thing. . . everyone is late for the dinner. . . this time round my birthday, everyone is late too!!! Already warn them last week, but still the same!!! Nvm, as long as they are here. . .

Saturday was even less eventful. . . we had our dinner at Jumbo Seafood at Riverside point. . . I forget to take photos of the foods!!! The food was not bad, but I think East coast outlet is much better. . . I also dunno if the food were enough for everyone that day. . . But I was really full, partially is due no appetite for that few days. . .

Went KTV at Chinatown after dinner, but the atmosphere was abit weird if you guys know wat I mean. . . finally get to hear feng singing, not too bad and he is such an entertainer, he really can make people laugh unintentionally. . .

Actually, I wasn’t really in the mood to sing that day, so din sing much. . . But I really hope you guys had a great time. . .

Finally 21 years old!!!

I had arranged with my parents to have dinner together. . . Haiz. . . need to spend again! But it’s WORTH it! We had sharkfins at Thai Village. . . It tastes really really good and it’s good for skins, ladies! Recommend to all. . .

It’s been many years since we went out together. . . I really can’t remember when is the last time. . . I really miss those times. . . Anyway, I’m glad to see both of them enjoying the dinner. . .

21st birthday celebration at Villa Bali

The moment I reach office this afternoon, I start getting reminders from some of my colleagues of how humiliating I was last nite. . . I had definitely made a fool of myself last nite!!! This is going to be quite a long entry. . . So guys, please bear with me. . .

So, the story goes. . .

Yesterday after work, the five of us (Me, Joyce, Lena, Laiting & Esther) walked over to Ocean Tower to meet AG who is our ex-senior to take cab to Villa Bali. As Laiting know the manager and some of the staffs there, we get the privilege to walk around the place and take our time in choosing our seats. And finally settled ourselves in a corner. Another colleague of mine, Howe Ngee, arrive just in time when we were ordering food.

They serve 3 different cuisines, Thai, North India & Italian. So Laiting’s friend recommends us to try North India food, at first I was skeptical about the food. But when the food came, wow, it taste GOOD!!! Guys, next time we shall go there again! And of cos, I ordered my favourite chicken wings!!! Still taste as good as before. After first round of food, Deeque still haven reach! She left the training during lunchtime, so we arranged to meet 7 at Villa. It was 8plus and she only jus got into a cab. Okie. . . Nvm. . . Forgive her. . . We ordered second round of food. And finally, Dq finally reach shortly after our second round of food came.

We finish 2 rounds of foods and first round of drinks. So I order one glass of long island tea specially mixed by Laiting’s friend which was slightly strong than usual.

My birthday cake came without my notice, Laiting’s friend suddenly came over from behind and placed it on our table. When I saw my cake, the first question I ask was ‘why are there so many candles?’

Joyce: Exactly 21 candles and this cake is baked by Deeque!
Me: zhen de shi ni bake de?
Deeque: gan dong ba, kuai dian ku, kuai dian ku!
Howe Ngee: So now you know why she is late and leave training halfway?

I'm SO touched! I still scold her for being late. . . Argh. . . So guilty!!!

Then I noticed the candles were very interesting. It actually give out sparks. So guys, you all should know what is it ler. . . Trick Candles!!! I had really hard time blowing the candles, the flame jus kept coming back! So u can imagine, the top part of the cake is full of my saliva. Worst of all, Laiting was actually taking video of this! OMG!!! The video will not be open to public.

Okie. . . Back to the cake, when I was trying to cut the cake, my knife jus couldn’t go thru the middle part. . . So they ask me jus cut the side. . . there’s something wrapped in aluminum foil in the middle. So I slowly open it. It’s actually a box with a necklace in it. I’m touched again. The necklace was specially bought by Joyce, DQ and Lena to match my new dress. . . They are so thoughtful and really sweet of them. . . And honestly, the cake was quite nice especially the chocolate fudge on top. Thank Deeque!

After finishing the cake, Laiting suddenly ask me. . . Jessie, you wanna get drunk today or next Friday ? (we were planning to go Butter Factory next fri)

I’m doomed this time. . . AG and Laiting kept discussing on what drinks to get for me. They are very keen in seeing me puke cause I told them I had never drink over my limit until puke and no one can help me drink.

So they make me finish my hardly-touch long island tea and order another 2 shots for me. The first one was quite nice, it taste like apple juice but I dunno the name and one B-52. After awhile, there comes my first puking experience from drinking. . . they let me rest awhile and went off to get 3 more shots for me. . . Oh god! Another 3 shots! This time, the 3 shots are all spicy, din really like it… But it doesn’t end here, they order 1 jug of beer and want me to finish 3 mugs!!! Impossible!!! With all the foods, cake and alcohol I had, I really couldn’t finish 3 mugs. So after some haggling, they finally only cut down to 2.5 mugs. I had to finish it before all can go home. With 2.5 mugs of beer down, there came the second puke of the day. . .

So in totally, I drank 2 glasses of wine, 1 long island tea, 5 shots and 2.5 mugs of beer. And puked twice! What a day! Luckily, I wake up this morning with no hangover. . . phew. . .

On my way to work this afternoon, I receive a sms from AG saying ‘other than talking very loud, staggering around, can’t seat or stand straight and wobbling around. You did not make a fool of yourself.’ SHIT!

I almost forget to mention Tingting, another colleague of mine, she is also very sweet. . . Yesterday, after lunch, she suddenly called me and asked me to go up to our office (I was in training room), saying she had some job issues to discuss. So I jus went up and looked for her, she just went to her drawer and took something out. Chey! It’s my birthday present! She really scared me at first, I really tot what happen to my job. . . hahaha. . .

Cruising...

I'm back from cruise!!! Totally relax! We spent our time chilling out, singing ktv, dipping in Jacuzzi, playing boardgames, arcade and eating!!! We were very lucky, my mum's friend offered to exchange her balcony room with our small cabin. Balcony room!!! Hahhha! So we had the balcony room all to ourselves. So happy! And at nite, we just sat at the balcony, enjoyed the breeze and the nite scenery (even though it's pitch black) and gossiping away. Hehehe.. Had a great time!

Stupidity at work!

It's so boring at work today. So me and Dq took some pictures with our phones. She used her hp to take my pic and i used my hp to take her pic. The flowers were from the grass patch outside Raffles MRT, my colleagues went to pick it, so i took the pink one from her and put it in my in-tray. The black one belong to my 'neighbour', Esther. Stupidity of us!
My training starts again tml.. haiz.. so sian.. cannot late.. no long lunch.. boring stuffs.. And it will only end on 24th Aug. A long way to go...

Finally, I'm going cruise tml with my besties, Hui & Von & my Mum!!! So happy!!! Can get away from everything, esp WORK & STUDIES!!! I will update again when I'm back on Sunday.
